General Terms and Conditions for Pegnumi Contracting Ltd
1. Introduction
These General Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to all services provided by Pegnumi Contracting Ltd (“we,” “us,” “our”) to clients (“Client” or “you”). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, along with any specific terms agreed upon in writing.
2. Services Provided
We offer a range of home repair services, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical work, drainage, heating, gas engineering, locksmithing, and general handyman services. The specific services to be provided will be detailed in the Service Agreement tailored to each Client.
3. Quotation and Acceptance
- All quotations provided by us are based on the information available at the time of the request and are valid for a limited period, typically 30 days.
- Any variations to the scope of work requested after acceptance of the quotation may result in additional charges, which will be communicated to you in advance.
4. Payment Terms
- Invoices will be issued upon completion of services or at predetermined milestones, as outlined in the Service Agreement.
- Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date unless otherwise specified in the Service Agreement.
- Late payments may incur interest charges at a rate of 5% per month from the due date until payment is received.
5. Client Responsibilities
- You agree to provide all necessary access to your property and any relevant information required for the completion of the services.
- You are responsible for ensuring the site is safe and free from hazards before our contractors arrive.
6. Amendments and Cancellations
- Any amendments to the Service Agreement must be made in writing and agreed upon by both parties.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the quoted service cost.
7. Warranty and Liability
- We warrant that our services will be performed with reasonable skill and care.
- Our liability for any direct loss or damage caused by our negligence is limited to the total amount paid for the services rendered under the Service Agreement.
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from our services.
8. Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.
9. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these Terms if such failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes, and government restrictions.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
